The Buddha procession departed from Hoi Phuoc Pagoda (Cat Pagoda) along Hoang Van Thu, Le Thanh Phuong, Yersin, and October 23 streets to Long Son Pagoda's stage. The Buddha procession was led by a lion dance team, a dragon dance team, a flag team, and banners, followed by a flower palanquin carrying the Buddha and nearly 2,000 monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the province. After the Buddha bathing ceremony, monks, nuns, and Buddhists along with thousands of people performed the lighting ceremony of 7 giant lotus flowers on Cai River (along the embankment, from Muong Thanh building area to near Ha Ra bridge). These 7 lotus flowers will be lit every night from now until May 12 (April 15 of the lunar calendar).

According to Most Venerable Thich Thien Phuoc - Deputy Head and Chief Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Khanh Hoa province, with the help of agencies, departments, branches and the consensus of monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province, he believes that the activities to celebrate the United Nations Vesak 2025 will leave many good impressions on people as well as domestic and foreign tourists.
