The Venezuelan government has just sent its deepest condolences to Vietnam over the tragic sinking of the Wonder Sea cruise ship in Ha Long Bay, which left 34 people dead and many others missing.
According to the VNA correspondent in Latin America, in a statement on his social media account, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil expressed his deep sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims, affirmed the spirit of international solidarity with Vietnam, and sent his gratitude to the rescue team who did not fear danger to participate in the rescue despite bad weather conditions.
At the same time, Venezuelan media also published the above message from Minister Yván Gil, updating the latest developments related to the rescue operations of Vietnamese authorities, as well as preparations to respond to the arrival of storm No. 3.
