Da Nang joyfully welcomes the train carrying soldiers returning from the parade

After the program of welcoming the first train with nearly 600 officers and soldiers in the parade force to Da Nang station on the afternoon of May 2, last night, May 3, the People's Committee of Da Nang City continued to coordinate with the Military Region 5 Command to organize a welcoming ceremony, congratulate and see off the parade forces who completed their mission to participate in the 50th Anniversary of National Reunification Day. Train numbered SE 66 is the 4th train carrying officers and soldiers returning after completing their parade and marching duties. Also on board is Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army...

At around 7 p.m., the train with more than 500 officers and soldiers entered Da Nang station in a brilliant display of flags and flowers, and was warmly welcomed by thousands of officers, soldiers and people of Da Nang city...

Congratulating the success of the parade and expressing deep gratitude to the forces for their special affection and attention when visiting Da Nang City on the way back to their units, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi emphasized that the parade and march program had left a deep impression on the hearts of the people in the country and international friends, at the same time adding strength, encouragement and motivation for the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army to continue promoting the strength of great national unity, firmly entering the new era - the era of rising up.
