Accordingly, the Honda StepWGN Spada e:HEV 2026 high-chassis MPV model is distributed in Southeast Asia as a complete import from Japan. The car has a starting price of 629 million rupiah (about 1 billion VND). In terms of design, the StepWGN Spada e:HEV has a modern, practical style of a family MPV. The car has a square shape, high ceiling and large windows, helping to optimize cabin space and visibility for passengers.
The front features a large, glossy black grille, combined with slim LED headlights and L-shaped daytime running lights that are full of personality. Large LED taillights are connected by a chrome bar, giving a feeling of solidity and solidity. These side doors also have the ability to slide electrically, just press a button on the handle to close or open. However, the biggest change of the 6th generation compared to the 5th generation StepWGN is at the rear, when the asymmetrical double-opening tailgate that Honda called Waku Waku has disappeared. Inside, the Step WGN can be equipped with a large 11.4-inch free-standing central touchscreen linked to the Honda Connect Navi infotainment system, along with a 15.6-inch rear ceiling-mounted multimedia screen.
Practicality has always been a selling point for the Honda Step WGN and this latest model is no different. It comes with seven seats with flexible seating arrangements. The second row can be moved aside and slid all the way forward and back, allowing the driver to easily keep an eye on their children. Ottoman-style comfort seats are also fitted to higher-end versions, while B-pillar sliding door switches have been added for easier opening and closing. Meanwhile, the third row seats have been arranged to be pushed further forward, as well as the second row with lower backrests and headrests to allow those sitting at the rear to have a better view of the front. Powering the StepWGN Spada e:HEV is the e:HEV (i-MMD) hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.0L petrol engine with two electric motors, for a total output of 184 horsepower and 315 Nm of maximum torque.
The main motor drives directly through the e-CVT gearbox, while the other motor acts as a generator, comes with a 7.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and drives the front wheels. Bringing the StepWGN Spada e:HEV to the Indonesian market is not only Honda's strategic move in expanding its hybrid product range in Southeast Asia, but also demonstrates its ambition to globalize fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly MPVs in the context of increasing demand for green vehicles.
