BTO - On the afternoon of October 15, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council held a press conference to inform about the content and agenda of the 26th session (special session) - the 11th Provincial People's Council. Attending the press conference were leaders and reporters from local press agencies and the provincial press.

At the press conference, Mr. Ngo Minh Hoa - Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council said that the Standing Committee of the 11th Provincial People's Council decided to convene the 26th session (special) - Provincial People's Council on October 18, 2024 at Hall B - Provincial Conference Center to decide on matters under its authority.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council considered and decided on resolutions submitted by the Provincial People's Committee on: Naming and renaming streets and public works in Phan Thiet City and Duc Linh District; Adjusting and supplementing the investment policy of the project to invest in upgrading, renovating and purchasing equipment for 15 medical stations and polyclinics in districts and Binh Thuan Province; Approving the investment policy of the project to build new, repair and renovate some items of Hung Vuong High School, Duc Linh District; Approving the investment policy of the project to build new, repair and renovate some items of Duc Linh High School, Duc Linh District; Approving the adjustment of the investment policy of the project to Drainage system outside the fence of Nghia Hoa Industrial Cluster, Ham Tan District.

The Provincial People's Council also considered and decided on Resolutions on Adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period of 2021-2025 from the excess lottery revenue in 2019 and 2020; Adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period of 2021-2025 from the provincial budget; Allowing the extension of the capital allocation period, adjusting and supplementing the 2024 public investment plan from the provincial budget; Stipulating the percentage (%) for calculating land rental prices; land rental prices for land leased by the State for underground construction; land rental prices for land with water surface in Binh Thuan province; Stipulating the criteria for deciding on bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land in the province; Approving the adjustment of investment policy (extending project implementation time) for a number of projects invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board; Adjusting central budget capital and local budget counterpart capital to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in 2023 and 2024 in the province; Allocating and supplementing funds for budget units to implement regimes, policies and tasks arising in 2024 (phase 3).

Also at this session, the Provincial People's Council will carry out personnel work under its authority.
