(GLO)- Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Chairman of the Council for Appraisal of the Master Plan for Exploitation and Sustainable Use of Coastal Resources, has just signed Decision 44/QD-HDTDQH dated June 28, 2023 promulgating the Plan for organizing the appraisal of the Master Plan for Exploitation and Sustainable Use of Coastal Resources for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2045.
The plan aims to specify the progress and steps for implementing the appraisal of the Master Plan for the exploitation and sustainable use of coastal resources for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2045 (the Plan); assign responsibilities to ministries, branches and localities (through appraisal council members) in the planning appraisal process.
In which, from July 1 to 15, 2023, members of the Appraisal Council will give written appraisal opinions on the planning dossier; from July 25 to 26, 2023, draft appraisal report, send for comments of Appraisal Council members; from August 11 to 15, 2023, synthesize opinions of the planning dossier review of Appraisal Council members, stamp to confirm completion of appraisal on the planning dossier; submit to the Prime Minister for approval;...

Council members are responsible for studying the planning appraisal documents and preparing written comments at the Appraisal Council meeting.
The plan clearly states and appraises the contents of the planning according to the provisions of Article 32 of the Law on Planning, including researching and giving opinions on related contents based on the functions and tasks of the ministries, branches, and units assigned to represent and giving opinions on other related issues of the planning to ensure the consistency and synchronization of the Planning.
Be responsible to the Chairman of the Appraisal Council and the Head of the agency for the work content assigned by the Chairman of the Appraisal Council and be responsible before the law for the opinions on the Planning. Coordinate with the standing agency of the Planning Appraisal Council to review the explanations and accept the opinions on the planning documents and files before the planning documents and files are stamped with confirmation.
Review members study, evaluate and report to the Council on the entire planning content; perform responsibilities and powers according to Article 35 of Decree No. 37/2019/ND-CP dated May 7, 2019 of the Government.
