Huawei officially announced that it has successfully replaced its legacy ERP enterprise resource planning system with the MetaERP system that the company self-developed and fully controlled.

The MetaERP system is the largest and most complex transformation project Huawei has ever undertaken. Huawei has complete control over MetaERP, which is synchronously integrated with other Huawei systems such as EulerOS and GaussDB.
Over the past three years, Huawei has invested significant resources and several thousand people in this project, and worked with industry partners and the broader ecosystem to address the challenges involved.
“We disconnected from our predecessor ERP system and other core management and operation systems more than three years ago,” said Tao Jingwen, Huawei Board Member and President of the IT, Business Process, and Quality Management Board. “Since then, Huawei has not only built its own MetaERP, but also transformed its management methods and demonstrated its capabilities.”
As such, MetaERP now handles 100% of Huawei's business scenarios and 80% of its business volume… passing monthly, quarterly and annual billing tests; while ensuring zero errors, zero delays and zero adjustments from accounting.
On this occasion, Huawei also held a MetaERP honoring ceremony at the company's Xi Liu Bei Po Village campus in Dongguan City, Guangdong, China, to recognize the efforts of individuals and groups who have made important contributions to this project.
