Hue established a working group to remove difficulties for investment projects.

Hue City Department of Finance said that Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong has signed a decision to establish a working group to review and remove difficulties and obstacles for investment projects in Hue City.

Accordingly, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong will be the Head of the Group. Deputy Heads include: Mr. Tran Cong Thich Vuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance (Permanent Deputy Head); Mr. Le Van Tue, Head of the Economic and Industrial Zone Management Board.

The members of the Working Group include: Mr. Bui Ngoc Chung, Deputy Director of Hue City Police; Mr. Tran Thanh Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Truong Nguyen Thien Nhan, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Tran Hung Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Justice; Mr. Phan Cong Man, Deputy Chief of the City Inspectorate; Ms. Tran Ton Thu Hang, Deputy Chief of the City People's Committee Office; Mr. Ha Xuan Hau, Director of the Project Management Board for Investment, Construction and Urban Development.

In addition, invite the Chairmen of the People's Committees of wards/communes where the project is facing difficulties to coordinate in performing the tasks of the Working Group.

According to the Hue City Department of Finance, the Working Group is responsible for reviewing, clarifying and synthesizing difficulties and problems related to investment projects in the city; researching and advising on solutions to remove difficulties and problems related to investment projects in the city according to specific groups of issues, determining the handling authority of relevant levels, and reporting to the Government Office, Steering Committee 751, and the Ministry of Finance.

Direct the updating of projects on System 751 according to the instructions of Steering Committee 751, Ministry of Finance. Be responsible for thoroughly handling problems that have ensured a legal basis for resolution within the authority; do not allow new violations to arise; do not pass on or avoid responsibility for resolving project problems. Strengthen the organization of inspection and supervision of implementation, do not allow existing violations to arise and new violations to arise; do not allow violations, losses, and waste in project implementation within the scope of management.

In the first 7 months of 2025, Hue City attracted a total of more than 28,000 billion VND in investment capital, with 35 newly licensed projects and many projects with increased capital. Of which, outside the economic zone, the industrial park has 9 licensed projects with a total registered capital of 6,313.3 billion VND, including 3 FDI projects with a total capital of 18.68 million USD (about 470 billion VND).
