The online contest to learn about the law on gender equality in communes and towns in ethnic minority areas in Thua Thien - Hue province takes place for 4 weeks, starting from September 11, 2023, ending on October 9, 2023.
The contest consists of two compulsory and encouraged parts. Through the contest, the aim is to effectively communicate changes in "thinking and doing" to help eliminate prejudices and gender stereotypes in families and communities, harmful cultural practices and some urgent social issues for women and children in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
After 4 weeks of competition, the Organizing Committee has recognized the results and awarded prizes to 5 winning groups and 14 individuals.
Accordingly, the first collective prize was awarded to Quang Nham commune; two second prizes were awarded to Hong Van Secondary and High School (A Luoi district) and Binh Tien commune (Huong Tra town); third prize went to A Luoi High School, A Luoi district and the People's Committee and People's Council of A Luoi district.
Regarding the video clip award, A Luoi High School won the first prize of the contest, Hong Van Secondary and High School, A Luoi district won the second prize, the third prize went to Ms. Vien Thi Hai (Quang Nham commune) and the People's Committee and People's Council of A Luoi district, 2 consolation prizes were awarded to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Chau (Quang Nham commune) and Binh Tien commune.
