Speaking at the Conference, Head of the Resettlement Department Hoang Thi Hong Ngoc said that improving the effectiveness of state management in the field of resettled goods is an inevitable requirement to ensure safety and consumer rights, while creating favorable conditions for businesses to conduct import and export activities in compliance with the law. Especially, in the field of state inspection of the quality of imported goods in group 2 - a group of goods with high potential risks of unsafety such as chemicals, fertilizers, industrial explosives, explosive precursors, inorganic fertilizers, textile products, etc. Therefore, strict requirements on documents, procedures, and inspection time need to be implemented synchronously, clearly, and transparently. Enterprises in the city need to proactively grasp and properly implement regulations on quality inspection registration, promptly coordinate with specialized agencies to avoid risks, delays in customs clearance, and cause unnecessary damage. At the same time, it commits to providing technical support, consulting, disseminating and guiding businesses on quality inspection procedures for imported groups II, and improving the capacity to respond to technical barriers in international trade.
