Ms. Mai Thu Huong, Chairwoman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, said: The Association has advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue a plan to implement the program "Promoting lifelong learning movements in families, clans, units, and communities, period 2021-2030"; directing all levels, sectors, and localities to promote emulation in building learning models associated with cultural life, building new rural areas, and civilized urban areas. At the same time, strengthen propaganda through the media and the association system; organize training on applying information technology to serve the evaluation, synthesis, and reporting of learning models; guide members and people to register, evaluate, and classify 5 learning models.
Along with that, coordinate with the Department of Education and Training and localities to maintain and improve the effectiveness of Community Learning Centers; organize training and fostering associated with socio -economic development; promote socialization, mobilize community participation to promote the lifelong learning movement, replicate learning models, and build a learning society.
From 2024 to present, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education has organized a seminar on "Solutions to improve the quality of learning models according to Decision No. 387/QD-TTg and 677/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister for the period 2021-2030", with nearly 40 delegates from the Education Promotion Cluster No. 1 of the Northwestern provinces attending. The provincial Association for Promotion of Education at all levels has organized more than 160 professional training courses for over 6,000 grassroots cadres; coordinated to open over 350 classes to transfer science and technology and production models, attracting 27,000 participants. The provincial Association for Promotion of Education at all levels has mobilized more than 7 billion VND for the Education Promotion Fund; more than 2.2 billion VND for the "To Hieu Scholarship Fund"; rewarded 1,070 collectives, individuals and students with outstanding achievements in teaching and learning, with a total budget of over 463 million VND. To date, the province has recognized 234,902 "learning citizens"; 213,055 "learning families"; 1,037 "learning clans"; 2,037 "learning communities" in groups, villages, and sub-regions and 875 "learning units".

Many “learning families” in the province, especially in the highlands and disadvantaged areas, have promoted the tradition of studiousness, encouraging their children to actively study and contribute. Typical examples include the Luong family in Pan village, Thuan Chau commune; the Thao, Mua, Sung families in Long He commune; the Lau family in Nam Giat village, Binh Thuan commune; the Lo family in Muong Bu commune; the Trang family in Ngoc Chien commune and the Cu family in Chieng Hoa commune...
The Thao clan in Long He commune has 152 households, with 112 people having degrees from intermediate to post-graduate. Many people are holding important positions in the locality. Mr. Thao Pa Tong, Head of the clan's Education Promotion Committee, said: Every year, families support from 200-300 thousand VND/household to organize honors and rewards for students with good achievements on International Children's Day, June 1. Thanks to the focus on studying, people's knowledge has been improved, their lives have been stable, and families have actively participated in local movements.
The effective implementation of learning models has contributed to deepening the movement to build a learning society in the province. In the coming time, learning promotion associations at all levels will continue to promote propaganda, training, inspection, and replication of typical models; coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to open flexible training classes, creating conditions for cadres, civil servants and people to study and improve their qualifications. At the same time, promote socialization and mobilize community resources to promote the lifelong learning movement.
