In Thach Tuan 2 village (Hoa Xuan commune), members of the Youth Union of Dak Lak Rubber Joint Stock Company were present from early morning, coordinating with local authorities to survey the damage, allocate resources, and deploy cleanup efforts in heavily silted areas.
In Tuy An Bac commune, which was heavily impacted by the floods, the provincial youth volunteer team quickly divided into groups to go to each household to clean up mud, garbage, and scrub walls and yards.
In addition to cleaning, the youth force also assisted in repairing electrical and water systems, clearing drainage ditches, erecting fences and livestock pens; and worked with teachers to clean classrooms to quickly restore normal teaching activities. At dangerous landslide areas, the youth members coordinated with functional forces to guide traffic, erect warning signs, and ensure the safety of people moving around.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Quyen, Secretary of the Tuy Hoa Ward Youth Union, union members and young people immediately mobilized after the floodwaters receded. "This is not only an annual volunteer activity but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility of young people towards the community," Ms. Quyen shared.
At the Green Island Ecofarm tourist area (Ea Na commune), the entire grounds were flooded, many small structures were displaced, and fallen trees blocked pathways. As soon as the water receded, 35 members of the Youth Union from Ea Na commune quickly divided into groups to clear vegetation, collect garbage, dredge mud, and unblock waterways.
Leveraging their professional expertise, the Youth Union of the Department of Health organized free medical examinations, health consultations, and medication distribution for people in localities affected by the floods. Here, young doctors and medical staff conducted checkups for common illnesses after the floods and guided people on disease prevention. Many elderly people, young children, and pregnant women received thorough examinations and timely medication.
In addition to contributing to the recovery efforts at the scene, the spirit of mutual support among the youth of Dak Lak is also clearly demonstrated through many activities caring for the people. The Provincial Youth Union has mobilized businesses, philanthropists, and charitable organizations inside and outside the province to provide essential supplies, clean water, clothing, and medicine.

Many innovative models have also been implemented by youth union branches at all levels, such as "Youth groups supporting post-flood production recovery," "Youth teams repairing houses," and "Volunteer Saturday - Green Sunday" to help people clean up fields and restore flooded crop areas. These are not only immediate activities but also contribute to bringing production back to normal.
Each simple gift, each day of tireless labor by the youth of Dak Lak, has made a significant contribution to the post-disaster recovery process. This proactive and enthusiastic spirit has not only helped people stabilize their lives quickly but has also strongly spread the spirit of solidarity and compassion within the community.
| The entire province mobilized more than 3,000 youth union members and young people to participate in supporting the recovery efforts after the floods. The provincial-level team alone included 55 volunteers, including lecturers, young doctors and medical staff, and students from colleges and universities in the province. In addition, the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union also provided more than 200 volunteers to assist in the flood-affected areas of Dak Lak. |
