Tan Phu Dong District awarded 192 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances.

(ABO) On May 23, the Tan Phu Dong District Association for the Promotion of Education coordinated with sponsors to hold a scholarship awarding ceremony for students from preschool to high school who have difficult circumstances and have overcome difficulties to study well in the district.

In total, 192 scholarships were supported by the District Education Promotion Association from benefactors inside and outside the district. Of these, 181 scholarships were “Step Up for You”, each worth 500,000 VND for primary, middle and high school students; each worth 300,000 VND for preschool students.

11 awards for outstanding students in the school, each worth 1 million VND. The total cost of the scholarships is over 102 million VND, sponsored by Tien Giang Lottery Company Limited with 80 million VND, and over 22 million VND by benefactors.

These scholarships are extremely practical for students with difficult circumstances in the district, to encourage them to strive to excel in their studies, contributing to improving the quality of education and talent promotion work in the district today.
