From May 15, the Ministry of Information and Communications will conduct a comprehensive inspection of TikTok's operations in Vietnam to ensure the platform's compliance with the law during its operations and business.
Last April, the Ministry of Information and Communications pointed out six violations by this social networking platform in Vietnam.
Accordingly, TikTok has grown strongly in the Vietnamese market since 2019; however, strong development does not go hand in hand with the responsibility to maintain and manage a healthy and safe platform for users.
Previously, the TikTok platform was mainly purely for entertainment, but since 2022, a lot of content against the Party and the State has appeared on the TikTok platform.
Along with that, many toxic contents have developed strongly, creating trends, causing negative impacts on Vietnamese children./.
