According to Engadget , at CES 2025, Intel officially launched its latest line of processors, the Core Ultra 200H and 200HX. Both are AI chips designed specifically for high-performance thin and light laptops and gaming laptops.

Intel promises a leap forward for gaming laptops with its new AI chip.
The Core Ultra 200H series of chips, exemplified by the Core Ultra 9 285H, boasts 16 cores (including 6 high-performance cores, 8 efficient cores, and 2 power-saving cores) and reaches a maximum clock speed of up to 5.4 GHz. Notably, this chip also integrates 8 Intel Arc GPU cores.
The CPUs belong to the Core Ultra 200H series.

Meanwhile, the Core Ultra 200HX series chips are geared towards higher-end performance, catering to gaming and demanding tasks. The top-of-the-line Core Ultra 9 285HX boasts 24 cores (8 high-performance cores and 16 efficient cores) and a maximum clock speed of 5.5 GHz. Although it only has 4 Intel GPU cores, this chip series is designed to work in conjunction with dedicated graphics cards from NVIDIA or AMD, delivering a top-tier gaming experience on laptops.
The CPUs belong to the Core Ultra 200HX series.

Intel announced that devices using the Core Ultra 200H and 200HX chips will be launched in the first quarter of 2025. This is also when desktop computers using the Core Ultra 200S chip will be available on the market.
The launch of this new chip line is seen as Intel's counterattack against competitors like AMD, while also reaffirming the company's leading position in the processor chip technology field.
