iPad Mini 6 is in short supply, making way for iPad Mini 7.

Currently, Apple has discontinued selling the iPad Mini 6 on its official website. However, users in Vietnam can still purchase this model through authorized dealers.

The iPad Mini 6 is currently being sold at a price starting from 12.8 million VND for the 64GB version with WiFi connectivity. Speaking with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper, representatives from several retailers stated that user interest in the iPad Mini product line in general, and the iPad Mini 6 in particular, is not very high.

"The iPad Mini is a product line aimed at users who appreciate compactness and versatility. Sales of the iPad Mini 6 are also quite modest when compared to the iPad Pro or iPad Air models," a representative from Minh Tuan Mobile stated.

According to retailers, the current stock of iPad Mini 6 is running low. Given current sales figures, the iPad Mini 6 is expected to be out of stock in Vietnam by the end of November or the beginning of December.

"In the last two quarters, the iPad Mini 6 contributed approximately 6% of iPad sales at our system. Although not as popular as the Air or Pro versions, the iPad Mini 6 still attracts a group of users who appreciate its compact size and powerful performance," shared Mr. Nguyen Van Giau, representative of the Di Dong My system.

On October 15th, Apple introduced the 7th generation iPad Mini. Compared to its predecessor released in 2021, this product doesn't differ much in size or design. Instead, the iPad Mini 7 features more powerful hardware and supports Apple Intelligence.

"The iPad Mini 7 integrates a powerful chip, delivers outstanding performance, and has a price that remains almost unchanged compared to its predecessor at launch. This will be a worthwhile option for users who appreciate a compact design."

"We expect this product to contribute approximately 30% to the total sales of the iPad product line. We anticipate sales of this device to increase by about 15% compared to its predecessor," said Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Apple product manager at Di Dong Viet.

In the Vietnamese market, the iPad Mini 7 is priced at VND 14 million for the 128GB version, VND 16.5 million for the 256GB version, and VND 22 million for the 512GB version. Currently, Apple has not announced the release date for the iPad Mini 7 in Vietnam.
