The International Outdoor Fashion Fair in Quy Nhon City (Q-Fair 2024) brings together over 100 prestigious outdoor product exhibition businesses from Vietnam and other countries and territories such as China, Malaysia, Taiwan (China), France, Spain... with over 1,000 booths.
Taking place from March 9 to 12 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, in addition to the exhibition activities, the Fair will have a series of large-scale events to connect trade, introduce and promote Vietnam's outdoor wood products as well as the image of the land and people of Vietnam and Binh Dinh province.

Speaking at the opening of the Fair, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tri - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development said that the export value of wood and forestry products in 2023 decreased unprecedentedly in history, reaching 14.47 billion USD, down 15.4% compared to 2022. In 2024, due to the impact of geopolitical conflicts that have not shown signs of cooling down, natural disasters, climate change are complicated and unpredictable, the world economy is still facing many difficulties, the supply chain is still broken, inflation is high, consumers continue to tighten spending on non-essential products in general, wood and our products in particular. Therefore, organizing the Fair is a very necessary activity to regain growth in wood and forestry exports.
“With thousands of booths, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors, this will be an effective trade promotion channel; creating many connections, exchanges, and cooperation; helping to bring the image of Vietnamese wood and wood products to customers around the world , attracting customers to Vietnamese wood and wood products; helping the wood processing and forestry industry regain growth momentum in 2024 and the following years” , Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Tri shared.
According to some international research organizations, the market for indoor and outdoor wooden furniture will be 644.1 billion USD by 2030 and with a compound growth rate of 5.7% in the period 2022-2030, in which the positive growth of demand for outdoor wooden furniture is forecasted, stemming from the trend of world consumers increasingly favoring materials of natural origin and being environmentally friendly.
This can be considered a driving force for the wood industry to continue to overcome immediate difficulties and challenges, have a long-term sustainable development strategy, continue to improve quality, diversify products, expand new export markets, and at the same time, promote strong product segments in traditional markets.
In addition, actively promote trade through organizing and participating in exhibitions and trade fairs, introducing products to partner businesses and consumers to promote product consumption as well as expand cooperative relationships and attract investment.

Each year, the Vietnamese wood industry exports an average of over 10 billion USD, making Vietnam the 5th largest exporter of wood and wood products in the world, the second in Asia and the top in Southeast Asia. In particular, Binh Dinh is one of the 4 largest wood processing and exporting centers in the country, the wood industry accounts for more than 60% of Binh Dinh's export value. In particular, Binh Dinh is increasingly asserting its superiority in technical wood products and outdoor wooden furniture in the domestic and international supply chain.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee said that Binh Dinh is one of the provinces with the largest number of wood processing factories in the country, concentrated in Phu Tai Industrial Park and Long My Industrial Park, with about 300 wood processing enterprises in operation, of which 245 enterprises have come into operation, with a total investment capital of about 12,000 billion VND. Main consumption markets: USA, EU, UK, Australia, Japan....
The 2024 Quy Nhon International Outdoor Fashion Fair is the first wood industry fair held in Binh Dinh.
