On behalf of the Politburo , Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu has just signed and issued Conclusion No. 162-KL/TW (dated June 6, 2025) of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the major contents of the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended) and the Project to continue to arrange and streamline the apparatus of the civil judgment enforcement system to ensure effective and efficient operations (Conclusion 162).
Conclusion 162 stated that at the meeting on June 6, 2025, after listening to the report of the Government Party Committee on the major contents of the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended) and the Project to continue to arrange and streamline the apparatus of the civil judgment enforcement system to ensure effective and efficient operation (Submission No. 19-TTr/DU, dated June 4, 2025), the Politburo and the Secretariat concluded.
Accordingly, the Politburo and the Secretariat basically agreed on the policy for two major contents in the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended) according to the proposal of the Government Party Committee on adding the decentralized subject of the Provincial People's Council and adding special regulations for the organization of local government in some special zones on islands.
The Government Party Committee shall coordinate with the National Assembly Party Committee to lead and direct agencies to complete the draft Law and submit it to the National Assembly for consideration and decision according to its authority.
During the implementation process, report to the Politburo and Secretariat on matters beyond authority.
Agree on the Project's policy to continue to arrange and streamline the civil judgment enforcement system to ensure effective and efficient operations. Assign the Government Party Committee to direct the reception of opinions from the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the assessment opinions of the Central Organization Committee.
At the same time, urgently supplement and complete the Project for synchronous implementation with the general policy on organizational arrangement and administrative unit arrangement; ensure that the enforcement agencies at all levels are consistent with the apparatus of the people's court and the people's procuracy to operate effectively and efficiently, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
