Tay Ninh - Japan Investment Connection: Reliable Partner, Sustainable Development

On August 6, the Tay Ninh province investment promotion delegation led by the Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh, successfully organized the Tokyo - Tay Ninh Investment Promotion and Connection Workshop in 2025 in Japan.

The Tokyo – Tay Ninh Investment Promotion and Connection Workshop was organized by Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee in coordination with Saigon VRG Investment Joint Stock Company. Attending were Investment Counselor, Embassy of Vietnam in Japan Vu Nhat Ha ; General Director of Saigon VRG Investment Joint Stock Company Lu Thanh Nha .

Speaking at the program, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the presence of Japanese enterprises - partners who have been investing and accompanying Tay Ninh in its development journey.

With 173 Japanese FDI projects in Tay Ninh, total capital of more than 1.2 billion USD, ranking fourth in terms of number of projects and investment capital out of the total number of partners with projects in the province, demonstrating the strong confidence of Japanese investors in the business environment in the province.

“Tay Ninh is gradually affirming its position as an attractive investment destination in the Southern region, with outstanding advantages in terms of geographical location, abundant land fund, young, high-quality human resources and a constantly improving investment environment,” emphasized Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh.

Provincial leaders also said that Tay Ninh is promoting investment in inter-regional transport infrastructure systems such as Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai, Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa, Go Dau - Xa Mat expressways, Ring Roads 3 and 4, etc. to complete the transport system and develop logistics services.

The province also focuses on building border economic zones such as Moc Bai, Xa Mat, and Binh Hiep, becoming new growth drivers, linked to the orientation of industrial, urban, and border trade development.

With the spirit of accompanying businesses to create development, the provincial leaders are committed to continuing to create an open, stable and effective investment environment, and are ready to welcome long-term cooperation from the Japanese business community in the coming time.

At the conference, General Director of Saigon VRG Investment Joint Stock Company Lu Thanh Nha gave an overview of Phuoc Dong Industrial Park, which is the largest industrial park in Tay Ninh province with a total area of about 2,436 hectares, of which the area for the industrial park accounts for about 2,189 hectares.

The industrial park has a strategic location on Provincial Road 782, conveniently connected to National Highway 22B, Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 and international border gates such as Moc Bai, complete logistics. The industrial park is invested in synchronous and modern technical infrastructure, pre-built factory system and design - construction services on demand (BTS) to meet diverse production needs.

“Phuoc Dong Industrial Park is actively expanding its clean land fund with hundreds of hectares available for lease, in order to welcome the new wave of investment from international corporations, especially Japanese enterprises. The industrial park aims to attract clean industry, high technology, precision engineering, medical equipment manufacturing, electronic components, supporting industries, processed foods and industries supporting the global supply chain,” Mr. Lu Thanh Nha affirmed.

Also at the investment connection session, many Japanese enterprises and corporations participated in discussing issues related to the investment environment, attraction policies and economic and industrial development orientation of Tay Ninh province.

Through the contents discussed by the provincial departments and branches, Japanese enterprises positively evaluated the quality of technical infrastructure, land fund in industrial parks, as well as the ability to connect inter-regional traffic in Tay Ninh. Many investors said that they will organize in-depth working sessions and send survey teams in the near future.

Following the positive results of the first working day, the Tay Ninh delegation will have meetings and work with agencies, organizations and businesses in Tokyo to discuss specific areas of potential cooperation, opening up practical cooperation opportunities in attracting FDI investment from Japan to Tay Ninh./.
