Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Technology and Energy Forum

The 2023 Technology and Energy Forum took place at the Quang Ninh Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Center. The program consisted of two sessions: New technology trends and solutions, and technologies contributing to ensuring energy security and sustainable development in the new context; and a panel discussion on solutions and support policies of Vietnam in research and application of energy technologies.

In the first session, representatives from businesses such as VinES ( Vingroup ), T-TECH Technology Group, BQ Group, An Ha Phuong Group, etc., will share about new technological solutions for energy security and sustainable development.

The panel discussion, moderated by representatives from the Ministry of Science and Technology and featuring speakers from local departments, agencies, and businesses, will discuss science and technology policies for research, application, and technology transfer in the energy sector.

The speakers also discussed topics such as policies supporting the efficient and economical use of energy resources; investment and development orientation for energy in Quang Ninh province; and experiences in applying and developing new energy technologies.

Techconnect & Innovation Vietnam 2023 has the theme "Innovation - Sustainable Development". This year's event is directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, and organized by the Department of Technology Application and Development, Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Science and Technology.

Organized since 2011, Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam aims to build a national innovation system to transform and apply knowledge and technology into practice; creating a direct bridge for technology suppliers and demanders to exchange, discuss, and ultimately sign cooperation agreements and technology transfer contracts. The event serves as a forum for businesses and experts to discuss and share information with policymakers, promoting the application and transfer of technology and the commercialization of products.

Alongside the technology and energy forum, more than 250 booths and technology demonstration areas from various businesses opened their doors for the public and anyone interested in technology to visit. The event started at 8 am, but an hour before that, many Quang Ninh residents gathered in front of the Planning Palace to learn about and experience the technology products.
