View of the Meeting
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council will consider and discuss 33 reports and submissions prepared by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Council's committees, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and judicial agencies. Provincial People's Council delegates discussed and decided on many important regular and specialized contents; voted to pass 22 resolutions (including 2 regular resolutions, 17 specialized resolutions and 3 resolutions on personnel work). 
The Chairman of the Meeting
Including some important contents such as: Resolution on the implementation of socio -economic development tasks in the first 6 months of the year and key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025; regulations on policies to support the development of Thai Nguyen tea industry; allocation of state budget estimates in 2025; adjustment and supplementation of the Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2021 - 2025, Public Investment Plan for 2025; giving opinions on the expected Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2026 - 2030 of Thai Nguyen province; deciding on the number of labor contracts to perform professional and technical work according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP, dated December 30, 2022 of the Government in the field of education for the 2025 - 2026 school year of Thai Nguyen province... 
Delegates presented the contents at the Session.
These are important contents, ensuring the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2025 and helping to orient and improve the efficiency of using public resources; at the same time, expanding development space and attracting investment in the following years.Speaking at the opening of the session, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized that the Third Session of the Provincial People's Council took place in an exciting, urgent and hopeful atmosphere after nearly a month of implementing the two-level local government model. Although there are still many difficulties, initially, the authorities at all levels have basically operated stably and smoothly, creating an atmosphere of determination and trust among cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the province.
Comrade Nguyen Dang Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered the opening speech at the Session.
In the first 6 months of 2025, in the context of the world, regional and domestic economies continuing to face many difficulties and challenges, under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, flexible management of the government; the support of the business community and especially the consensus of all classes of people, Thai Nguyen province maintained stable development, achieved many positive results with an economic growth rate of 6.61%; a number of key projects continued to be accelerated and implemented on schedule, creating an important driving force for economic growth. Total budget revenue in the area reached over 13,000 billion VND. The results of public investment capital disbursement were high, with the payment of the 2025 capital plan reaching 79.0% compared to the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister. 
Delegates attending the Session
Along with economic development, cultural and social fields continue to be maintained and focused on; national defense - security, social order and safety are ensured; administrative reform, anti-corruption, and complaint and denunciation settlement are given attention; the great national unity bloc is consolidated; people's trust in the leadership of the Party and State continues to be enhanced.The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested that delegates promote their responsibility and clearly express their views on each content so that the Provincial People's Council can make correct and practical decisions, effectively promote resources in investment, and meet the trust and expectations of voters and people of all ethnic groups.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung emphasized the importance of the meeting in the context of the recent merger of Bac Kan and Thai Nguyen provinces; and acknowledged the outstanding results in the first 6 months of 2025 in terms of socio-economic development, Party building, national defense and security, and the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.The Provincial Party Secretary noted the tasks that need to be implemented immediately, which are to accelerate the breakthrough, make efforts to carry out the socio-economic tasks in 2025; renew traditional growth drivers; effectively implement budget collection solutions, ensure revenue exceeds the assigned estimate, deploy new public investment projects to create momentum for local socio-economic development, such as: CT07 Expressway, Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi section; Thai Nguyen - Cao Bang Expressway; Lang Son - Thai Nguyen Expressway; Nui Coc Lake Road, etc.
Promote the development of Thai Nguyen tea industry, aiming to soon achieve a revenue of 1 billion USD; develop Thai Nguyen tourism based on the strengths of resort and ecological tourism associated with history, culture, spirituality... Accelerate digital transformation; develop the private economy; focus highly on compensation and site clearance; immediately review and adjust the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, on the basis of recalculating zoning, orientation, and growth drivers to suit the new Thai Nguyen province...
Delegates of the provincial Party Committees of communes and wards attended the meeting.
He believes that with the high determination, solidarity and efforts of the entire political system, Thai Nguyen will successfully complete the set goals, creating a foundation for rapid and sustainable development...* To ensure that the activities of the Provincial People's Council and its agencies are carried out in a unified, effective manner, according to authority, at this morning's session, a number of procedural contents on personnel work were implemented.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee congratulated the comrades who were dismissed and elected as additional members of the Provincial People's Committee at the Session.
Accordingly, based on the Notice of the Standing Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee on personnel work, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council introduced and at the Session elected Ms. Pho Thi Thuy, Deputy Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Delegate of the 14th Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Head of the Ethnic Committee, the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.At the meeting, the procedure was also carried out to remove Ms. Ha Thi Dao, former Director of the Department of Justice, from the position of Member of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province for the 14th term, 2021 - 2026, and Mr. Tran Cong Hoa, former Director of the Department of Construction, because they had been assigned other work by the competent authority. At the same time, Ms. Vu Thi Le Hang, Director of the Department of Justice, was elected as an additional member of the Provincial People's Committee.
In the afternoon, delegates continued working in the Hall to listen to a number of reports and presentations, then discussed in groups the contents presented at the Session.
