On the evening of April 29th, at the Hai Tien Beach Tourist Area Square, the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa district organized the opening ceremony of the Hai Tien Beach Tourism Festival 2024 with the theme "Hai Tien - The Sea Sings a Love Song".

Attending the opening ceremony, on behalf of the Central Government were: Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lam, former Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee; and Mr. Chu Pham Ngoc Hien, former Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment .

Representing Thanh Hoa province were: Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Mr. Le Tien Lam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Quang Hung, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Mr. Dao Xuan Yen, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Quang Hai, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Le Duc Giang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders from provincial departments, agencies, and organizations; representatives from districts, towns, and cities in the province; businesses; and a large number of local people and tourists.

After more than 12 years of construction and development, Hai Tien Beach Tourist Area has become an attractive destination on the Thanh Hoa coastal tourism map. To date, the tourist area has attracted more than 20,000 billion VND in investment capital to complete its technical and tourism infrastructure.

The resort currently has 115 accommodation establishments with 6,740 standard rooms, 182 restaurants, 11 outdoor swimming pools, sports facilities, thrill rides, wave pools, and many unique experiential services...

In 2023, the number of tourists visiting and staying at Hai Tien beach reached over 1.6 million; total revenue from the tourism industry exceeded 2,100 billion VND.

Chairman of Hoang Hoa District People's Committee Le Thanh Hai delivered the opening speech at the festival.

In his opening remarks at the 2024 Hai Tien Beach Tourism Festival, Chairman of the Hoang Hoa District People's Committee Le Thanh Hai emphasized: Hoang Hoa has a prime location, blessed by nature with mountains, rivers, streams, and the sea converging; with lush rice and vegetable fields all year round; and with a system of road, waterway, and railway transportation, situated on the trans-Vietnam transportation route, bringing the district many potentials and opportunities for economic development.

Hoang Hoa is also renowned as a land of studiousness, with a rich tradition of patriotism, echoing revolutionary spirit, and possessing many historical and cultural values with a strong identity. With 16 national-level historical and cultural relics and 77 provincial-level historical and cultural relics, Hoang Hoa has great potential for developing eco-tourism, cultural and historical tourism, and especially the potential for beach and resort tourism in the Hai Tien beach resort area. After more than 12 years of operation, Hai Tien is gradually transforming, establishing itself as an attractive resort destination with basic infrastructure meeting the accommodation needs of tourists.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa District also affirmed: With the goal of building and developing Hai Tien into a civilized and modern coastal tourist city, the Party Committee, government, and people of Hoang Hoa District have been making efforts to invest in building tourism infrastructure; building a green, clean, and beautiful tourism environment to better meet the needs of tourists, striving for Hai Tien to achieve three things: having a synchronized tourism infrastructure; having a civilized tourism environment; and having friendly and hospitable tourism people.

The opening night's art program featured performances by many famous artists.

Following the opening ceremony, delegates and the public enjoyed a spectacular artistic program themed "Hai Tien - The Sea Sings a Love Song," consisting of three parts: "A Painting of a Countryside," "Where Love Begins," and "Aspiration for the Blue Sea."

With a combination of a magnificent stage setting, modern and professional sound and lighting systems, the art program at the festival featured many elaborately staged performances, bringing together famous artists such as Trong Tan, Luong Huy, Duong Hoang Yen, Bui Thuy, Trinh Linh Chi, Dong Chull, My Lam...

The art program vividly portrays a vibrant and beautiful picture of the homeland, the peaceful pace of life, and the youthful, energetic spirit of Hai Tien beach.

The Hai Tien Beach Tourism Festival is the opening event for the 2024 beach tourism season in Hoang Hoa district. This is an annual event aimed at further introducing and promoting the potential, strengths, and strong development of Hai Tien tourism, thereby attracting a large number of tourists and investors to Hai Tien, Hoang Hoa.
