The festival is one of the practical activities to implement solutions to preserve and promote the value of cultural heritage in the current period.
The festival is organized to create a healthy cultural playground, where localities with typical historical and cultural relics meet, exchange and share experiences in management, conservation, restoration and mobilize social resources to promote heritage values. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to promote the image of Ninh Binh land and people to domestic and foreign tourists, aiming at the goal of sustainable development between culture and tourism economy.

The first Ninh Binh Province Folk Culture Festival of Typical Monuments in 2025 will take place over two days (November 21 and 22). In addition to the performances of unique folk cultural performances of typical monuments, there will also be exchange activities and competitions to learn about cultural heritage between groups, reenacting typical rituals, performances, customs and festivals associated with the monuments.
