Immediately after landing at Nagoya International Airport and completing immigration procedures, the whole team was warmly welcomed by the local Organizing Committee and assisted in moving to the bus.

After about 2 hours of travel, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team arrived at the hotel. The players quickly settled in, ate and rested to recover after the long journey.

On the evening of November 21, the team entered their first training session at the training ground in Hamamatsu City. The training session mainly consisted of light exercises, endurance running, relaxation and getting used to the local weather, in which the outdoor temperature was around 14 degrees Celsius. This is quite cold weather compared to the conditions in Vietnam, requiring the players to have time to adapt.

Regarding the force, the Vietnamese women's team lacks the services of defender Chuong Thi Kieu and midfielder Nguyen Thi Van in this training session because both are in the process of treating injuries and cannot recover in time to join the team.

According to the plan, the Vietnamese women's team will play three friendly matches during their training period in Japan, on November 24, 26 and 28, respectively, against the women's teams of Aichi Toho University, Shizuoka Sangyo University and Shizuoka SSU Bonita Club.

These will be important tests to help the coaching staff evaluate performance, test the squad and improve their skills before aiming to defend their achievements at SEA Games 33.
