The National Assembly Delegation and Hanoi People's Council support people affected by floods

Responding to the call of the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on the morning of November 23, the National Assembly Delegation and the Hanoi People's Council launched a campaign to mobilize all staff and employees of the agency to support people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by floods.

Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha; Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran The Cuong; Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, Deputy Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Pham Thi Thanh Mai attended.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council, leaders of the City National Assembly Delegation; City People's Council committees; Office of the National Assembly Delegation and City People's Council and officials, civil servants and workers donated at least one day's salary each. The money will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front, contributing to sharing the losses and difficulties that the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions are suffering.

Previously, to send to the people of the Central and Central Highlands provinces who are struggling to cope with the exceptionally heavy rains and floods, causing heavy damage to people and property, on November 22, the leaders of Hanoi city were present in Gia Lai province and presented 50 billion VND in aid from Hanoi city to Gia Lai province to serve the relief of people affected by the floods.

Hanoi also affirmed that it will continue to closely coordinate with Gia Lai province to implement plans to support people to restore production and stabilize their lives immediately after the flood recedes. In addition to the above initial support, Hanoi has also allocated 10 billion VND from the city's Relief Fund to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in order to promptly respond to the call of the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions affected by floods.
