Around the afternoon and night of November 24, cold air will affect the Northeast and North Central regions, then the Northwest and North Central regions.
On land, strong northeast wind level 3-4, coastal areas level 4-5. From November 25, the North and North Central regions will be cold, with some places in the high mountains of the North experiencing severe cold.
The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions is generally 12-15°C, in mountainous areas it is below 10°C. Hanoi's weather will also turn cold from November 25, with the lowest temperature ranging from 13-15°C.

At sea, from the afternoon of November 24, the northeast wind in the Gulf of Tonkin gradually increased to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 2-4m high. In the North East Sea, the northeast wind gradually increased to level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 4-6m high.
From the evening of November 24, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa has had northeast winds gradually increasing to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 3-5m high.
The influence of the cold air combined with disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone has caused widespread heavy rain in the area from Hue city, Da Nang city and the east of Quang Ngai province to Gia Lai.
Regarding the current rain situation, the meteorological agency said that from the morning of November 23 to the morning of November 25, Hue City, Da Nang City and the eastern part of Quang Ngai Province to Gia Lai will have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall of 50 - 110mm, locally very heavy rain over 220mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain, rainfall over 60mm in 3 hours.
In addition, on the day and night of November 23, the eastern part of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and the southern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 10-30mm, with some places experiencing heavy rain of over 60mm.
From the afternoon and night of November 25, heavy rain in the Central region tends to decrease.
During thunderstorms, beware of extreme weather events such as tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.
