On the evening of June 25, at Ky Ba Park (Thai Binh city), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the City People's Committee and the Provincial Tourism Association to organize the opening ceremony of the provincial tourism week and the city's Exhibition, Promotion, Investment and Trade Fair in 2024. In 2023, the total number of tourists in the province is estimated to reach 850,000 (an increase of 15.5% compared to 2022), mainly domestic tourists; international tourists reach 2,150; revenue reaches 550 billion VND. In 2024, the total number of visitors in the first 6 months of the year is estimated to reach 320,000 (an increase of 20% over the same period), international visitors are estimated to reach 2,000, revenue is estimated to reach 370 billion VND (an increase of 18% over the same period in 2023).

In particular, the highlight is the performance of decorative hot air balloons, water puppetry performances, and unique art programs imbued with the traditional cultural identity of the province; Free tour program for sightseeing, experience, traditionaleducation for students... The city's exhibition, investment and trade promotion fair has a scale of 200 booths displaying products of nearly 100 enterprises inside and outside the province, mainly agricultural, forestry, aquatic and seafood products - processed foods, electricity, household electronics, textiles, wooden furniture, household goods, OCOP products...

The City People's Committee presides over and coordinates with the Provincial Police, the Provincial Military Command and relevant departments and sectors to direct departments, branches, sectors and organizations to effectively implement the work of ensuring security, social order and safety, traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention; environmental sanitation work and ensuring other conditions for the tourism week to take place safely and effectively.
