Leaders of the Import-Export Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade shared information at the conference.
At the conference, experts helped businesses grasp the import-export situation, commitments in FTAs, and at the same time implement Decision No. 1103/QD-BCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the context of fluctuating international trade. In particular, the basic content of the Vietnam - Israel Free Trade Agreement (VIFTA) was disseminated in detail, helping businesses understand the rules of origin of goods, how to calculate the domestic value content, convert commodity codes, DE Minimis rules, bilateral accumulation, and instructions for issuing Certificates of Origin (C/O) in paper and electronic data. The conference also focused on the rules of origin for agricultural and aquatic products, which are strong export items of Thai Binh . Businesses were given specific instructions on how to prepare C/O forms and origin commitment forms of exporters in accordance with current regulations.

Representatives of the Import-Export Department directly answered questions in the process of applying the rules of origin. Thereby, helping businesses make the most of tariff incentives from new-generation FTAs, improve competitiveness, expand markets and promote sustainable exports. The leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade hope that timely equipping with knowledge and skills on import and export will help businesses adapt flexibly to the new context, proactively integrate and effectively contribute to the socio -economic development of the province.
