Leveraging the advantages of his hometown, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tu built Hai Dang Homestay, achieving legitimate wealth.

Hamlet 6 is one of the remote hamlets in Dai Phuc commune. Previously, due to difficult transportation conditions, with winding and narrow roads, most residents relied on agriculture for their livelihood, resulting in unstable incomes. Mr. Tu's family lives on a plot of land near Nui Coc Lake, a famous tourist area in the province. The land is situated on high ground, offering a cool and airy environment, surrounded by lush green acacia hills and sprawling tea plantations, providing a fresh and peaceful atmosphere.

Recognizing the great potential of the natural landscape and the advantage of being close to Nui Coc Lake, in 2023, Mr. and Mrs. Tu boldly invested over 5 billion VND to build Hai Dang Homestay. Hai Dang Homestay is designed in harmony with nature, featuring accommodation in rows of stilt houses with strong traditional architecture, capable of serving approximately 100 guests at a time.

The open-plan design maximizes natural light, greenery, and the gently sloping terrain, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere for guests. From the homestay, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the vast countryside, breathe in the fresh air, and temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

To create its own unique identity, Hai Dang Homestay, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Tu, not only provides accommodation but also develops experiential tours linked to local culture and ecology. Specifically, Mr. Tu collaborates with the Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures to pick up guests and organizes self-contained sightseeing itineraries. Visitors can enjoy free tea at the famous Tan Cuong tea region, then travel to Hai Dang Homestay to check in, rest, have fun, and take photos.

Here, visitors can participate in many attractive activities such as cooking experiences, enjoying local cuisine , fishing, swimming, rowing, rafting, or taking boat tours around Nui Coc Lake. In the evening, groups often organize bonfires and cultural exchanges, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The next morning, visitors can continue their journey to explore Dat Ngao stream (Quan Chu commune); or experience harvesting and drying tea at famous local tea production facilities.

Anh Tú built accommodation and dining areas in stilt houses, harmoniously blending with nature.
Mr. and Mrs. Tran Ngoc Tu built a lodging and dining area consisting of stilt houses, harmoniously and friendly with nature.

Sharing his startup idea, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tu said: "Previously, the roads in my hometown were difficult to travel on, and the lives of the people were very hard. I always wondered how to develop the existing strengths of the locality, both to create a livelihood for my family and to contribute to helping people have more opportunities to develop services, escaping from a purely agricultural life."

However, according to Mr. Tú, developing green tourism and community-based tourism is not a bed of roses. To succeed, systematic investment is needed, focusing on service quality, preserving the environment and local cultural identity. In addition, the support of the government is crucial in improving transportation infrastructure, promoting tourism, and providing skills training for local people involved in tourism.

In fact, the Hai Dang Homestay model has initially shown positive results. Not only does it create regular jobs for local workers, but it also opens opportunities for people to participate in providing accompanying services such as food, transportation, guided tours, selling agricultural products, and local specialties.
