Free medical examinations, medication distribution, and gifts were provided to 400 residents of Van Hung commune.

On January 17th, the Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Little Heart humanitarian medical team (Ho Chi Minh City), organized free medical examinations and provided free medicine to the people of Van Hung commune.

Doctors and medical staff screened approximately 400 people for cardiovascular, blood pressure, musculoskeletal, pediatric, and respiratory diseases; they also provided advice and guidance on disease prevention during the cold season, especially for the elderly. After the check-ups, residents were also given free medication for common illnesses and nutritional supplements.

On this occasion, the units donated 400 gift packages, including food and some school supplies, to poor and near-poor households and diligent students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the area, with each gift package worth 625,000 VND.

The program provides gifts to underprivileged but studious students.
