The exhibition "Indochina Senses" not only immerses visitors in an ancient art space but also helps them better understand the important milestone of Vietnameseeducation .

These days, the nearly 100-year-old Hanoi National University Central Building has become a prominent destination in the hearts of the capital's people, especially with the exhibition "Indochinese Sensations."

Built in the early 20th century, this building was originally part of the Indochina University, now the Hanoi National University. With its ancient architecture, red tiled roofs, large arched windows and delicate carvings, the building is a historical witness, recalling the period when the country first opened its doors to the West.

Inspired by this place, the young painters, artists and designers of “Indochina Sense” have cleverly arranged their works to harmonize with the existing architecture but still bring a new image to the Central Building of Hanoi National University.

Here, visitors can admire and experience unique installation works such as: Clusters of decorative works with chandeliers, installation works of doctoral steles on light-conducting mica material with engraved engravings, 3D mapping projection work recreating the image of 2 phoenixes on the dome of the building that has faded over time; admire rare animal and plant models at the biological museum; experience hand embroidery techniques of the Indochina era...; and many other impressive installations.

These works and creative spaces are considered to be a bridge between the past and the present, giving viewers a full range of experiences in architecture, art, images and sounds, and interactions that do not require and cannot be expressed in words.

The exhibition “Indochinese Sensation” at Hanoi National University not only immerses visitors in an ancient artistic space but also helps them better understand the important milestone of Vietnamese education. The long lines of people in front of the gate every day are a testament to the attraction of this project, expressing the public’s love and curiosity for the unique architectural heritage of the capital./.
