Khanh Hoa announces Director of Department of Agriculture and Environment

On the afternoon of February 20, in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on organizational structure and personnel work. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development was appointed as Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee announced decisions on personnel work in the Party agencies.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee has decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Vu Chi Hieu, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ninh Hoa Town Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Mobilize and appoint Mr. Nguyen Sy Khanh, Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Khanh Vinh District Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.

Mobilize Mr. Mau Van Phi, Secretary of Khanh Vinh District Party Committee to work at the Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Khanh Hoa province to introduce and negotiate to elect him to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Khanh Hoa province, term 2024 - 2029.

Appoint and transfer Ms. Le Vinh Lien Trang, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

At the conference, representatives of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also announced the decision to establish 7 new Departments including: Department of Ethnicity and Religion, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance, Department of Construction, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also announced key personnel of new departments. Specifically, Mr. Vo Nam Thang, Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee, was appointed as Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; Mr. Vo Chi Vuong, former Director of the Department of Home Affairs, was appointed as Director of the new Department of Home Affairs.

Mr. Tran Van Chau, Director of the old Department of Construction, was appointed Director of the new Department of Construction; Mr. Pham Quoc Hoan, Director of the Department of Information and Communications, was appointed Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, was appointed Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, requested units and localities to properly implement policies and regimes for cadres and workers affected by the restructuring.

Newly established units on the basis of mergers and acquisitions need to quickly stabilize their apparatus and organization, urgently deploy tasks, and avoid interruptions or stagnation of work.

“New departments are established but on the basis of merger, so all work assignments and tasks must closely follow functions and tasks.
