On the morning of May 14, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province officially launched the Intelligent Monitoring and Operation Center (IOC) - a key project in the local digital transformation process. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Pham Quoc Hoan, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, and leaders of local departments and branches.

"Digital brain" works 24/7
Built as the "digital brain" of the provincial government, Khanh Hoa IOC operates non-stop (24/7), ensuring continuity, safety and reliability in all activities. The center acts as a digital command center serving the direction and operation of provincial leaders with the task of collecting, synchronizing and analyzing data from departments, branches and application systems throughout the area.
According to Thanh Nien reporters, the center is monitoring and coordinating activities in many essential areas such as: online public services, administrative reform, traffic, security and order, environment, health, education, tourism, economy and finance.
The highlight of the project is the synchronous deployment of many smart systems such as: traffic cameras, multi-layer digital maps, data analysis, on-site reflection systems, public service monitoring and IoT device networks. These technologies help authorities detect problems early and handle them promptly, improving the efficiency of urban management.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, affirmed: "IOC is a breakthrough tool to help the government innovate management and administration in a transparent, effective, people-friendly and practical direction. This is not only a technology center, but also the core in the process of creating a digital government in Khanh Hoa province".
The Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also requested departments, branches and localities to actively participate, proactively connect and share data about IOC to maximize the effectiveness of the system.
Development roadmap towards the future
Sharing more about the project's vision, Mr. Pham Quoc Hoan, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Science and Technology, emphasized: "IOC is a testament to a new management mindset, where technology is placed at the center, but people and businesses are the main subjects. All data and all decisions from IOC must serve the goal of improving the quality of public services."
According to the Director of the Department of Science and Technology, the Khanh Hoa IOC Center will not stop at the present but will continue to expand the scale of monitoring and integrate more deeply with national data systems. Improving the ability to analyze, forecast and make quick decisions will help operations become more flexible and practical.
