Approximately 360 players will participate in the HBSF Tour I in 2026.

VHO - On the morning of June 2nd, the HBSF Tour I MIN Table Cup 2026 Billiards Tournament - a competition dubbed the "World Cup of Vietnamese billiards" with a large number of high-quality players and meticulous, professional organization - commenced at the Sports Service Center (215C Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Phu Tho Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

The tournament, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards & Snooker Federation (HBSF) and primarily sponsored by MIN Table, will take place from June 2nd to 7th, 2026.

South Korean billiards player Kim Bogeon secured his first win of the day.

The tournament brought together approximately 360 athletes, including most of Vietnam's best players in all disciplines, along with some international players, especially from South Korea, competing in four events: men's 3-cushion carom, women's 3-cushion carom, men's 9-ball pool, and women's 9-ball pool.

The tournament has a total prize pool of nearly 400 million VND, with the men's 3-cushion carom champion receiving 70 million VND, the women's 3-cushion carom champion 15 million VND, the men's 9-ball pool champion 60 million VND, and the women's 9-ball pool champion 20 million VND.

The HBSF Tour in 2026 will be the first time the pool competition format has changed, with matches played in sets, which will increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of the tournament.

The tournament is a valuable platform for female billiards players.

In addition, the 3-cushion carom billiards competition has become more challenging, increasing the competitiveness as the qualifying rounds are limited to only 80 spots (compared to 160 previously).

In particular, only players who compete in both stages of the HBSF Tour during the year are eligible to participate in the HBSF Final, which takes place at the end of the year and offers even more attractive prize money.

This year, the HBSF Tour also features design changes, making it more visually appealing, increasing visibility, expanding seating capacity, optimizing space, and providing a better experience for spectators. HBSF also continues to improve the implementation of the match schedule and live results on its website, following modern trends.
