Commencement of the Van Phuc Bridge Construction Investment Project and the connecting road to National Highway 32

On the morning of August 19, at Phuc Loc commune bridge, Hanoi City People's Committee started the Van Phuc bridge construction investment project and the connecting road to National Highway 32.

The project to start construction of Van Phuc bridge and the connecting road to National Highway 32 is a group A project belonging to group I works. The investment objective of the project is to complete the traffic infrastructure system according to the approved planning, creating a connecting axis for the invested routes; at the same time, creating a premise to promote socio -economic development in the neighboring province (Phu Tho province) and in the capital region.

At the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board Duong Duc Hien said: The total investment of the project is 3,443 billion VND, of which the cost of site clearance is 260.4 billion VND, construction items are 2,613.3 billion VND; the contract value of the construction package is 2,485 billion VND, the implementation period is 26 months, the construction period is from 2025 to 2027. Based on the assigned tasks, the Board has coordinated with departments, branches, People's Committees of Phuc Tho and Phuc Loc communes to actively deploy investment preparation, prepare for project implementation and organize bidding to select contractors for the project.

Emphasizing the significance of the project, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Loc Commune, Le Van Thu, expressed: This is not only an important traffic infrastructure project of the city, but also a project of faith, aspiration and expectation from many generations of people of Phuc Loc Commune.

This route and bridge have long been considered the "golden key" to open the door to connectivity and socio-economic development, transforming Phuc Loc commune from a purely agricultural countryside into a dynamic locality, deeply integrated into the economic flows of the capital region and neighboring provinces.

At the ceremony, Deputy Chief of Office of Hanoi People's Committee Vo Tuan Anh highly appreciated the efforts of the investor, People's Committee of Phuc Loc commune and related units; especially the support of units and people in site clearance work so that the project can be invested as planned.

Comrade Vo Tuan Anh also requested the investor and contractors participating in the project to concentrate maximum human resources and equipment; carry out construction urgently, scientifically , safely; seriously implement according to the provisions of law; ensure quality, technique and aesthetics so that the project can be completed on schedule.

The Van Phuc Bridge construction investment project is built at the starting point Km0+000 intersecting with National Highway 32; the end point Km7+773 connects with the traffic route project connecting from the left dike of the Red River to Van Phuc Bridge (Phu Tho province). The project has a construction scale of 7.77km long, designed according to the standards of a level III plain road, with a design speed of 80km/h. The connecting route from Van Phuc Bridge to National Highway 32 (length 4.81km) has a roadbed width of Bn = 32.0m, ensuring the scale of 6 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles: The Van Phuc Bridge area is 2.97km long (Van Coc Lake overpass, approach bridge, main bridge over the river) has a width of B - 20.5m, ensuring the scale of 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles.
