Foreign investors reversed net selling, VN-Index decreased slightly

On June 18, short-term profit-taking pressure caused the market to shake at the beginning of the session, but demand quickly returned, pulling the VN-Index above the 1,350-point mark. In the afternoon, selling pressure increased in the banking and securities groups, causing the market to sink into the red. At the end of the session, the VN-Index decreased by 0.86 points to 1,346.83 points.

In this session, stocks that had a positive impact on the VN-Index included: VHM, GAS, TCB, STB, HPG, VIC, ACB , GVR, CTD, KDH, with an increase of more than 1.76 points. On the other hand, stocks: VCB, FPT, VPB, VPL, BID, LPB, CTG, MWG, HVN, EIB were sold heavily and took away more than 4.12 points from the VN-Index.

On the HoSE floor, the order matching value of this session was equivalent to the previous session, reaching more than 18,536.34 billion VND.

Foreign investors reversed to net sell nearly 272 billion VND on HoSE in this session. In the buying direction, HPG shares were bought the most with a value of more than 192 billion VND, followed by MSB (103 billion VND), SHB (52 billion VND), NVL (44 billion VND)... On the contrary, FPT was sold the most (154 billion VND), followed by STB (76 billion VND), VCI (60 billion VND), VNM (44 billion VND)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 13 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing.

Of which, STB increased by 2.61%, VHM increased by 2.59%, GAS increased by 2.31%, TCB increased by 1.23%, HPG increased by 1.12%.

Codes: ACB, BCM, BVH, GVR, HDB, MBB, VIC, VRE increased slightly; SSB, VJC stopped at reference.

On the other hand, VPB decreased by 1.6%, FPT decreased by 1.52%, LPB decreased by 1.24%, MWG decreased by 1.09%, SSI decreased by 1.05%.

The remaining codes: BID, CTG, MSN, PLX, SAB, SHB, TPB, VCB, VIB, VNM decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks, except for HPG, increased by 1.12%, the rest fluctuated little. Specifically, VCA increased slightly, HMC, HSG, SMC, TLH stopped at reference, DTL, NKG decreased slightly.

The group of securities stocks ended the session down 0.37%. Besides SSI mentioned above, VND decreased by 1.49%, TVS decreased by 1.42%, VDS decreased by 1.4%, DSC decreased by 1.0%, AGR, CTS, ORS, TCI, VCI decreased slightly. On the up side, APG increased by 2.47%, BSI increased by 1.11%, FTS, HCM, TVB, VIX increased slightly, and DSE stopped at reference.

Similarly, the banking group closed down 0.3%. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, codes such as: EIB decreased by 1.71%, MSB, OCB, NAB decreased slightly.

Meanwhile, real estate stocks traded quite positively, closing the session up 0.79%. Besides: VHM, VIC, VRE mentioned above, the stocks that increased strongly were: LDG, LGL hit the ceiling, NVT increased by 3.85%, TDH increased by 4.32%. On the other hand, DTA decreased by 2.3%, ITC decreased by 2.47%, KHG decreased by 2.12%, QCG decreased by 1.72%, SCR decreased by 2.72%, SGR decreased by 1.62%, TEG decreased by 3.28%, VRC decreased by 2.34%...

Other stock groups such as: production materials, raw materials, utilities, energy increased slightly.

On the other hand, software decreased by 1.4%, telecommunications decreased by 1.27%, consumer services decreased by 1%, insurance, transportation, distribution and retail of durable goods, consumer goods and decoration, food, beverages and tobacco decreased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index fluctuated today, VNXALL-Index closed down 2.23 points (-0.10%), to 2,216.4 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 818.03 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 20,065.87 billion. In the whole market, there were 131 stocks increasing in price, 104 stocks remaining unchanged and 215 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 228.20 points, down 0.04% (-0.02%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 70.60 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND1,327,088 billion. The entire floor had 66 stocks increasing, 67 stocks remaining unchanged and 75 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 1.97 points (-0.42%) to 470.68 points. Trading volume reached about 45.61 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND1,018,529 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 7 stocks increasing, 9 stocks remaining unchanged and 14 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 98.89 points, up 0.02 points (+0.02%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 52.29 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 494,234 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 158 stocks increasing, 108 stocks remaining unchanged and 164 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 0.86 points (-0.06%) to 1,346.83 points. Liquidity reached over 840.36 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND20,052.63 billion. The entire floor had 108 stocks increasing, 67 stocks remaining unchanged and 184 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 1.6 points (+0.11%) to 1,432.99 points. Liquidity reached more than 302.38 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND9,278.42 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 13 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are NVL (over 38.61 million units), HPG (over 31.46 million units), MBB (over 26.18 million units), TCB (over 17.75 million units), VCG (over 15.29 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase were BCG (6.99%), FCM (6.94%), LGL (6.94%), LDG (6.93%), TCD (6.88%).
