Foreign investors continue net buying, VN-Index increases more than 5 points

On July 4, the market struggled for most of the trading session mainly due to the negative impact of the two stocks VIC and VHM. At the end of the session, the group of blue-chip stocks improved, in which the codes: FPT, BVH, ACB increased sharply, helping the VN-Index regain green and increase 5.01 points to 1,386.97 points at the end of the session.

On the HoSE floor, the order matching value this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than 19,874.35 billion VND.

Foreign investors continued to net buy approximately 1,780 billion VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, FPT shares were bought the most with a value of more than 459 billion VND, followed by ACB (274 billion VND), CCQ FUEVFVND (161 billion VND), MWG (131 billion VND)... On the contrary, VIC was sold the most (136 billion VND), followed by GEX (82 billion VND), GVR (72 billion VND), VHN (48 billion VND)...

In this session, stocks that had a positive impact on the VN-Index included: FPT , VCB, ACB, BID with an increase of 3.5 points. On the contrary, stocks: VIC, VHM, GVR, BCM were sold heavily and took away more than 3 points from the VN-Index.

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 23 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 4 stocks decreasing.

Of which, FPT increased the most by adding 3.81% to VND 122,500/share, followed by BVH increasing by 3.58% to VND 54,900/share, ACB increased by 2.1%, MWG increased by 1.38%, SSB increased by 1.09%.

Codes: BID, CTG, GAS, HPG, LPB, MBB, MSN, PLX, SAB, SSI, STB, TCB, VCB, VIB , VJC, VNM, VPB, VRE increased slightly.

Three codes stood still, including: HDB, SHB, TPB.

On the other hand, VIC decreased by 2.75% to VND91,900/share, BCM decreased by 1.36%, GVR decreased by 1.01%, VHM decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks closed in green, with POM up 6.67%, HMC up 1.69%, SMC up 1.4%, DTL, HPG up slightly, and NKG at the reference. On the downside, TLH down 1.59%, VCA down 1.57%, and HSG down slightly.

The group of securities stocks closed up 0.24%. Except for VIX which increased 2.83% and led the market liquidity (more than 74.33 million matched units), the majority of the codes in the group fluctuated slightly. Specifically, HCM increased 1.29%, DSC, DSE, ORS, SSI increased slightly, APG, TCI, TVS stopped at the reference. On the opposite side, VDS decreased 1.03%, FTS decreased 1.01%, AGR, BSI, CTS, TVB, VCI, VND decreased slightly.

Banking stocks closed up 0.7%. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: NAB increased by 1.18%, EIB, OCB increased slightly, MSB stopped at reference.

Meanwhile, the real estate group ended the session down 0.64%. Besides VIC, VHM, BCM mentioned above, DTA decreased by 2.13%, NVT decreased by 5.45%... On the contrary, some small and medium-sized stocks still increased strongly such as: LDG, PTL, TIX hit the ceiling, DIG increased by 3.4%, HPX increased by 3.03%, KHG increased by 3.94%, PDR increased by 2.8%...

Other stock sectors such as: software increased by 3.66%, insurance increased by 1.87%, distribution and retail of durable goods increased by 1.21%, telecommunications increased by 1.46%, transportation, utilities, production materials, food, beverages and tobacco, and energy increased slightly.

On the contrary, raw materials and consumer services decreased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index maintained its upward momentum throughout the session today, with the VNXALL-Index closing up 14.29 points (+0.63%) to 2,297.38 points. Market liquidity was high, with a trading volume of 871.69 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND21,007.30 billion. In the entire market, 244 stocks increased in price, 97 stocks remained unchanged, and 121 stocks decreased in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 232.51 points, up 1.58 points (+0.68%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 89.55 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 1,500,483 billion. The entire floor had 100 stocks increasing, 61 stocks remaining unchanged and 63 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed up 1.60 points (+0.34%) to 479.08 points. Trading volume reached over 58.50 million units, with a corresponding value of over VND1,196,549 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 21 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 4 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 101.17 points, up 0.31 points (+0.31%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 52.77 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 448,157 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 157 stocks increasing, 150 stocks remaining unchanged and 126 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 5.01 points (+0.36%) to 1,386.97 points. Liquidity reached over 861.87 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND20,478.23 billion. The entire floor had 204 stocks increasing, 66 stocks remaining unchanged and 101 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 7.57 points (+0.51%) to 1,488.77 points. Liquidity reached over 251.59 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND8,653.07 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 23 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 4 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were VIX (over 74.33 million units), DIG (over 28.48 million units), ACB (over 26.95 million units), VPB (over 22.18 million units), PDR (over 21.52 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were TIX (6.94%), TTF (6.93%), LDG (6.92%), DLG (6.91%), PNC (6.90%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were CLC (-8.55%), GTA (-6.06%), TNC (-6.02%), NVT (-5.45%), SPM (-4.93%).

* Today's derivatives market had 123,606 contracts traded, worth VND 18,193.45 billion.
