If you don't have air conditioning or want to save electricity, you can use a refrigerator, fan or water to cool your body when you go to sleep at night.

The ideal nighttime air conditioning temperature is 25-28 degrees Celsius, depending on the individual. In the summer, indoor temperatures often rise above this, even at night. If you can’t install air conditioning, or are experiencing an unusually hot spell, there are still a few ways to cool down so you can sleep better.
According to Cnet, 1-2 hours before going to bed, you can put your pillowcase or thin bed sheet in a plastic bag, then put it in the freezer. These fabric items will be cooled without becoming stiff. When going to bed, take out the sheets and pillowcases to change into the bed, and they will stay cool long enough for you to fall asleep when the weather is hot.
Similarly, put a pair of socks in the freezer and put them on before bed. Like your fingers, your feet and toes are sensitive to temperature changes and play a role in regulating your body temperature. If your feet are cool, your entire body will feel cooler.
Another almost free option is to place a damp towel on your bed to help your body dissipate heat as you fall asleep. However, place a dry towel underneath the damp towel to prevent water from seeping into your mattress. The towel won't stay damp and cool all night, but it will be enough to help keep you cool as you fall asleep.
You can also fill a plastic bottle with cold water, wrap it in a thin towel and bring it to bed, near your feet. This will help cool your feet and make it easier to sleep.
Once you’ve cooled down your sleeping gear, find a way to circulate the air. Fans are an economical option, using only about 1% of the electricity of an air conditioner. Place a fan next to your bed and place a bowl of ice water in front of it. The air from the fan will be cooled before it blows toward you. If possible, place another fan facing out through a window to blow the hot air out of the bedroom.
There is advice online that you should sleep naked to keep cool. However, this will not be effective if you sweat. It is better to wear light pajamas, such as cotton, which will help to absorb sweat away from your body, avoiding it from seeping into the bed.
Some mattresses are breathable, which improves airflow and draws heat away from the body. This is a good option, but it can be expensive. If a mattress is out of your budget, consider cooling sheets or pillows made from breathable fabrics like organic cotton, linen, or bamboo. These materials are breathable and moisture-wicking.
Also, try to keep your bedroom from getting too hot during the day by using blackout curtains to keep the room from getting too hot. Hot air rises, so the upper floors of your home will be hotter than the lower floors.
