On January 14th, the Vietnam Record Organization announced and awarded a certificate recognizing the largest total area of the administrative and commercial service building complex of the Bien Que Huong Community Tourism Service Area ( Binh Thuan province), which was recycled from shipping containers.
The project was designed and constructed by the unit and the team of authors using 13 repurposed steel shipping containers, creating a fully functional administrative and commercial service building within the community tourism service area, with a total area of 1,465m².
The Vietnam Record Organization announced and awarded the record certificate to Bien Que Huong Limited Liability Company and the team of authors of the project.
These are used steel shipping containers, each with a volume of 40 cubic meters, discarded from industrial and port warehouses.
This structure can be completed without excavation, using ground supports and the cargo container structure as the main load-bearing frame, based on its ability to withstand a load of 40 tons per container.
Recycled shipping containers were creatively repurposed into office buildings.
The project has been highly praised by the Vietnam Record Organization and many tourism businesses for utilizing industrial waste to minimize harmful emissions into the surrounding environment, thereby constructing tourist facilities that meet all green and clean standards.
This project, made from recycled waste materials – the largest shipping container in Vietnam – is highly effective in terms of economics , technology, usability, and environmental protection, reducing CO₂ emissions.
Developing green tourism that harmonizes with nature is a trend that many tourism businesses are pursuing.
After reviewing the documents, conducting on-site assessments of the project's parameters and value, the Vietnam Record Organization officially decided to announce and award the record certificate to Bien Que Huong Limited Liability Company and the project's authors.
