The ancient tree - the sui tree over 600 years old is still growing green and healthy. Visiting the Lam Kinh National Special Relic Site (Tho Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province), in addition to witnessing the unique architecture of the once glorious capital under the Later Le Dynasty, visitors can also immerse themselves in nature with a forest of ancient trees spanning dozens of hectares, of which 18 trees are Vietnamese heritage trees.

Each tree has its own story, both mysterious and unique. Among them is a sui tree over 600 years old, said to have grown since the time when national hero Le Loi raised the flag of uprising against the invading Ming army.
This sui tree is located behind the 5 Thai temples, right in front of the tomb of King Le Thai To, creating both natural beauty for the relic and adding solemnity to this sacred place.
According to the measurement results, the sui tree is about 40 m high, 1.13 m in diameter, healthy, with green branches and leaves. On the tree trunk, there are many species of lichens and ferns.
