Checking the plan to arrange and expand educational facilities in Phuoc Long commune

On the morning of August 16, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan and representatives of the Department of Education and Training, Department of Finance, and Department of Construction inspected the plan to arrange and expand educational facilities in Phuoc Long commune.

Accordingly, the delegation surveyed the current status of facilities at the offices of the following schools: Vinh Phu Dong A Secondary School; Vinh Phu Dong A Primary School; Vinh Phu Dong Kindergarten; headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of Phu Dong commune (old); headquarters of the Cultural - Sports Center of Phu Dong commune (old).

To ensure 2 sessions/day of teaching and organizing boarding schools according to the roadmap, the Department of Education and Training proposed to build a pilot model to expand educational facilities by utilizing cultural institutions, Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee headquarters that are no longer in use after the arrangement of commune-level administrative units and 2-level local government organizations.

During the field survey, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan requested the Department of Education and Training to preside over and, within its authority, coordinate with the Department of Finance and the Department of Construction to urgently develop a financial estimate plan, design and construct works in accordance with regulations, requirements and actual conditions, ensuring safety to thereby improve the operational efficiency of educational institutions after expansion and rearrangement.
