Inspecting the implementation of foreign affairs work in Bao Lac district

The leader of the Department of Foreign Affairs spoke at the inspection.

From 2018 to now, the functional forces, relevant sectors of Bao Lac district and people of border communes have actively participated in the movement "All people protect national security", the movement of self-management of border lines and border markers, so the implementation of the task of protecting border lines and border markers has been favorable; political security, social order and safety in border areas have been ensured, and the national border territory has been maintained.

The District People's Committee regularly coordinates and exchanges information; participates in meetings with the three forces to proactively grasp the internal and external situation; promptly handles incidents occurring on the border. Foreign affairs activities are carried out by the District People's Committee in accordance with current procedures and regulations; well implements the information and reporting regime according to Decision No. 2805-QD/TU dated June 23, 2020 of the Provincial Party Committee on promulgating the Regulations on management and unification of foreign affairs activities in Cao Bang province.

The district actively promotes trade promotion activities, especially with China; has signed many cooperation documents such as cooperation in mulberry cultivation and silkworm raising; cooperation in planting Melaleuca trees (Xom Deng); cooperation in opening markets, exploiting tourism ...

At the inspection session, delegates discussed and clarified issues related to the district's foreign affairs such as: Investment in building infrastructure in border areas; measures to attract foreign non-governmental projects to support people, especially those in difficult circumstances; cooperation activities with foreign partners; twinning activities in border villages, hamlets, and districts of Vietnam and China...

The working delegation requested the District People's Committee to strengthen leadership, direction, propaganda, dissemination and implementation of regulations related to foreign affairs and territorial border management. Continue to seriously implement Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated January 9, 2015 of the Prime Minister on organizing the movement "All people participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation". Pay attention to proactively building goals and programs to mobilize foreign non-governmental aid; thoroughly implement the regulations on unified management of foreign affairs activities in the province for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
