Kien Giang mobilizes 2 members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to hold new positions

On April 11, at Rach Gia City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision on personnel work. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Kien Giang province Do Thanh Binh attended the conference.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee allowed Mr. Le Thanh Viet to stop participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and stop holding the position of Secretary of Rach Gia City Party Committee, term 2020-2025; transferred and appointed him to participate as a member of the Party Delegation, holding the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, term 2019-2024.

At the same time, the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee mobilized and appointed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Rach Gia City Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

On the same day, Kien Giang province also announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee on personnel work organized by the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee decided to let Ms. Le Thi Ve, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang Province, cease to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang Province, term 2019-2024. Ms. Le Thi Ve requested to retire because she did not meet the conditions for re-election as a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang Province for the new term.
