“Touching Autumn in Hanoi” opens a journey to discover the unique beauty of the Capital

“Touching Autumn in Hanoi” is part of Vietnam Airlines’ long-term strategy to make Hanoi an attractive cultural-tourism destination in the region and on the world tourism map.

On the afternoon of September 23, Vietnam Airlines in collaboration with the Hanoi People's Committee officially announced the campaign "Touching Autumn in Hanoi" - an emotional journey bringing the public closer to the gentle, ancient yet vibrant beauty of the thousand-year-old capital.

“Touching Autumn in Hanoi” is part of Vietnam Airlines’ long-term strategy to turn Hanoi into an attractive cultural-tourism destination in the region and on the world tourism map. At the same time, the campaign is the result of a cooperation agreement between Vietnam Airlines and Hanoi city for the period 2025-2030, aiming at sustainable socio-economic development and enhancing the capital’s tourism brand.

The campaign opens a journey to explore Hanoi with many different "touch points" such as: "touching" love with the Run For Love community run (September 28), where footsteps join together for a humanitarian goal; "touching" the water surface of West Lake with the Dragon Boat Racing and SUP Festival (October 5), where long-standing traditions revive in the heart of the modern city; "touching" a sustainable lifestyle with the Fly Light to Hanoi journey (October 6), evoking awareness of green tourism and responsibility to the environment.

The campaign also brings Hanoi lovers to profound musical experiences at Vietnam Airlines Classic-Hanoi Concert (October 10-11), a gentle "touch" with classical music space in the heart of the old town; 5AM Concert (November), where modernity meets tradition in the intersection of sound and emotion at dawn.

According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, the inspiration comes from the fact that Hanoi's autumn has its own unique, charming and gentle features. From there, shaping each year when the weather enters autumn, the city will create a series of events, first to serve the people in the country and the capital, then reaching out to the regional and international levels.

Mr. Quyen said that Hanoi and Vietnam Airlines have signed a long-term cooperation program to accompany the events in the next 5 years. The theme "Touching Autumn in Hanoi" conveys the wishes and plans of the city and Vietnam Airlines to the people and tourists to share in the joy and share in this series of events, creating an impressive highlight for the capital.

Mr. Le Hong Ha, General Director of Vietnam Airlines shared with “Touching Autumn Hanoi”, Vietnam Airlines wishes to bring tourists profound experiences, where every step is a “touch point” with the culture, nature and people of the Capital. Each event is a “touch point” of memories, of love for Hanoi, contributing to portraying a Capital that is both classic and youthful, both imbued with identity and open and integrated. Thereby, the image of a friendly, hospitable and imbued with identity Vietnam will be strongly spread to international friends.
