On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Indochina College of Fine Arts - Vietnam University of Fine Arts (1925 - 2025), on November 14, 2025, the first Victor Tardieu Award will be presented to honor and encourage the young generation of artists to continue the creative tradition of the school.
The award is organized by the Vietnam University of Fine Arts, Millon Vietnam and A&V Foundation, for students with excellent graduation papers in the school's training fields, including Painting, Graphics, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Art Pedagogy and Theory - History, Art Criticism.

The award is named after Victor Tardieu - French painter, first Principal and founder of the Indochina College of Fine Arts.
Victor Tardieu is considered the founder of modern Vietnamese fine arts, contributing to the formation of the first generation of painters in our country.
The Victor Tardieu Prize is expected to be awarded annually. In 2025, the prize will be awarded for the first time to seven outstanding graduates: Tong Tien Dat (Oil Painting), Tran Thi Hoi (Silk Painting), Nguyen Duong Tra Mi (Lacquer Painting), Trinh Thu Van (Graphics), Nguyen Duc Nghia (Sculpture), Dinh Thanh Truc (Art Pedagogy) and Nguyen Phuong Anh (Graphic Design).
The winning works are highly appreciated for their creative thinking, personality and artistic expression.
The Victor Tardieu Award ceremony will take place within the framework of the exhibition "100 years of modern art - Collection of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum", on the morning of November 14, 2025 at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum (66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Hanoi ).
The event has special significance as Vietnam University of Fine Arts celebrates its 100th anniversary, marking the journey of "A Hundred Years of Convergence - Opening the Future", where tradition and creativity continue to meet in the journey of nurturing new artistic talents.
