Within the framework of Photo Hanoi'25, on the evening of November 10, the exhibition "Photography practice of young artists" took place at Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, 40 Lan Ong, Hanoi .
The exhibition, curated by photographer Nguyen The Son, introduces works by 26 young artists aged 18 to 20, students in the fields of fine arts, design and art photography from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts and the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts - Hanoi National University.

They represent a creative generation with rich and versatile approaches to using photography as a medium of expression.
From unique perspectives, viewers will be led to explore the diversity of photography - not only as a tool for recording images, but also as a profound and evocative artistic language.
With the desire to broaden the perspective on the role of photography in contemporary Vietnamese art, the exhibition not only encourages young artists to explore and develop visual language, but also suggests the potential for applying photography in their own artistic practices.
Many young artists are using photography as an experimental medium, combining performance, installation and visual design. Some works focus on personal emotions, while others reflect social life, culture and urban memories. These experiments demonstrate the dynamism and daring of young Vietnamese artists.
The exhibition “Photography Practice of Young Artists” is a highlight of Photo Hanoi'25, not only opening up a space for practice and experimentation for young artists but also contributing to connecting tradition and modernity, between previous generations and the younger generation, developing photography in a diverse and integrated direction.
The exhibition is open from now until November 2025.
