“Each dish tells a story about the culture, history and identity of the country. Through each flavor, we hope to spread the spirit of understanding, cooperation and sharing. The festival is a place to introduce global cuisine, and also convey the message of a dynamic, friendly Vietnam that is ready to connect for peace, cooperation and development,” Ms. Nga shared.

This year’s festival brings together nearly 120 booths from more than 50 embassies, consulates, foreign cultural centers, 13 local foreign affairs departments and many large enterprises. This large presence affirms Vietnam’s position as the “common home of world culture”.

The new feature of this year's festival is the "Digital Interactive Corner", which helps visitors easily look up information, view event maps, learn about each country's specialties and participate in modern multimedia experiences; along with a series of creative programs such as "Borderless Food Diary", "Fashion Food Show", "Global Beer Fest" and thematic areas "ASEAN Common Roof", "Global Food Avenue", "Three Regions of Vietnam".

The presence of Ms. Le Nguyet Anh, wife of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and Ms. Elena Bezdetko, wife of the Russian Ambassador to Vietnam, along with the Minister Counselor and representatives of diplomatic corps from more than 50 countries attending the press conference of the festival was an important highlight, demonstrating the spirit of connection between cultural diplomacy and people's diplomacy.
Ms. Le Nguyet Anh - Wife of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam emphasized that cuisine is an effective bridge to help people get closer together. “Through a seemingly simple activity like cuisine, we wish to convey our sincere feelings to international friends, while also expressing the love and hospitality of the Vietnamese people. This activity creates an opportunity for countries to exchange, learn and study each other's culture, thereby fostering understanding, respecting differences and working towards a peaceful world,” said Ms. Le Nguyet Anh.

According to Ms. Le Nguyet Anh: “The application of digital technology at the festival demonstrates the spirit of innovation, affirming the country's strong transformation in the digital age. Above all, the event hopes to spread the message of love for humanity, love for the homeland and the desire for peaceful coexistence among nations.”
