Deserving to be the Heroic Capital Police of the Heroic People's Police of Vietnam

The work of ensuring security and order on the occasion of the solemn celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd is the result of the professionalism and responsibility of the Vietnam People's Public Security force, including the Capital Police, which coordinated with other forces to create admirable results.

On the afternoon of November 11, Hanoi City Police held a conference to review the work of ensuring security and order for the A80 Anniversary Celebration; the organization of the program "Festival Day for a Peaceful Capital" and the peak period of attacking and suppressing crime to protect important political events taking place in the capital.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Hanoi City Police, said: The ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (A80) was held successfully, with absolute security and safety, without any mistakes, even the smallest ones; leaving many important marks, of which the biggest mark belongs to the people.

Hanoi City Police have proactively developed and deployed a peak period of attacking and suppressing crime; simultaneously deployed four thematic peak periods and more than 30 plans to ensure security and order in all areas of national security protection and social order and safety maintenance; proactively prevented and grasped the situation early, from afar, right from the grassroots level; actively detected and eliminated all factors and potential risks, even the smallest ones, that could affect the security and safety of the Anniversary.

Speaking at the conference, Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Hanoi City Police Department have closely followed the leadership and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, leading the entire Capital Police force to form a united bloc, unified in will and action; actively and effectively develop and deploy plans and projects to do a good job of managing subjects; attack and suppress all types of crimes, clean up the area, prevent early and from afar..., ensure security and order at the event site; organize traffic work smoothly and effectively.

Along with traditional solutions, Hanoi City Police have actively applied science and technology, organized the Festival for a Peaceful Capital; organized a peak period of crime suppression, created a vibrant competitive atmosphere, and strived to fulfill tasks throughout the entire Hanoi Police force.

Not only striving to perfectly implement the plan to ensure security and order, the Capital Police have actively deployed support work, creating maximum convenience for people to enjoy and participate in the celebration.

Minister Luong Tam Quang believes that the Capital Police will continue to promote its glorious tradition and achievements, and be the leading unit in implementing the policies, viewpoints, and regulations of the Party, the State, the Central Public Security Party Committee, and the Ministry of Public Security; and take the lead in the emulation movement of the Three Bests: Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People, worthy of being the leading bird of the Vietnam People's Public Security, the Heroic Capital Police of the Heroic Vietnam People's Public Security.

At the conference, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc assessed that the work of ensuring security and order during the A80 Anniversary was the result of the professionalism and responsibility of the Vietnam People's Public Security force, including the Capital Police, which coordinated with other forces to create admirable results.

Emphasizing the requirements for developing Hanoi Capital by General Secretary To Lam and the Resolution of the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee, the Secretary of the City Party Committee said that the city is implementing a synchronous, drastic, breakthrough and persistent action program.

The Hanoi Secretary also requested the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to continue to direct, accompany, and support the Hanoi Police in tasks that are superior to the stature of the Capital Police; on the city side, the city will create the most favorable conditions for the Hanoi Police to be proactive in performing their tasks, not passive in any situation, creating peace for the people, for the city to develop its socio-economy, and to build a clean and strong Party.
