Ho Chi Minh City: Opening of a series of exhibitions on energy and supporting industrial products of Vietnam

Recently, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition of Vietnam Supporting Industry Products and Electrical Equipment 2025 took place.

In his opening speech, Mr. Ha Van Ut, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized that supporting industry is a field that the city is interested in developing and supporting businesses to improve their competitiveness, increase their ability to attract capital, promote technology transfer, and promote the development of domestic small and medium enterprises.

Therefore, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Ha Van Ut hopes that the event will be a bridge to create conditions for supporting industry enterprises to participate in trade promotion programs, seek opportunities to connect with domestic and foreign partners, promote products to the international community, thereby promoting market development opportunities, increasing brand recognition of domestic manufacturing enterprises.

Deputy Director of the Electricity Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) Trinh Quoc Vu assessed that this is an event of special significance in the context of Vietnam promoting the energy transition process towards sustainability, modernity and autonomy.

Therefore, the event is not only a forum for exchanging and introducing new technologies and development trends in the energy sector, but also an activity to concretize the major orientations of the Party and Government on ensuring national energy security, developing a competitive electricity market and promoting efficient energy use.

According to the Organizing Committee, there will also be two exhibition events taking place in parallel, including: International exhibition on electricity technology, renewable energy and energy storage in Vietnam; International exhibition on HVAC technology, refrigeration systems and smart buildings in Vietnam.

This year’s exhibition series, with 350 booths from businesses in 16 countries, is an important economic event. This is not only a place to display and introduce new products and technologies, but also an opportunity to promote trade, improve the supply chain, and contribute to the formation of a supporting industrial ecosystem, towards sustainable industrial development.

As planned, the exhibition series will take place from November 5-7 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) to connect technology, investment and supply chains, promoting green energy and Vietnamese industry. The event is organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City.
