Immediately after the launching ceremony, Kien Giang Provincial Border Guard units simultaneously planted 3,500 trees and fruit trees in the Linh Huynh Border Guard Station.

It is known that, implementing Directive No. 45/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on organizing the "Tet tree planting" movement and strengthening forest protection and development from the beginning of 2021, along with the Program of planting one billion trees "For a green Vietnam", from 2021 to present, Kien Giang Border Guard has coordinated with departments, branches, units and Party committees and authorities in the border area to plant nearly 20,000 trees of all kinds, reaching 100% of the set plan.
